About the role

In this role you will:

  • Provide local ieMR end user support and application administration functions as required from an operational perspective, in consultation with the Nurse Manager, Clinical Informatics to build workforce capacity and promote a culture of learning in the clinical environment.
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate the delivery of at the elbow and remote staff support to enable the ongoing adoption of the ieMR, including associated workflows and integrated devices.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support to build staff knowledge and experience in key aspects of the ieMR solution such as FirstNet, PowerChart: Maternity, Renal, PowerForms, PowerPlans, iView, Patient Lists, CareCompass, etc.
  • Provide input to inform Redcliffe Hospital ieMR optimisation and system change requests via appropriate operational and Metro North governance bodies.
  • Support ieMR change activities, including participation in site testing and business readiness planning.
  • Provide expert clinical informatics knowledge and support the general function of units through role modelling and application of the principles of best practice, education, leadership, and portfolio management.

About you

  • Appointment to this position requires proof of minimum tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in an eligible Health Practitioner discipline and, where applicable, registration with relevant AHPRA National Board or eligibility for the membership of the relevant Professional Association.  Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of duties.
  • Whilst not mandatory, possession of a relevant post graduate qualification (i.e. Graduate Certificate, or Graduate Diploma, Master's Degree) or evidence of enrolment in such a program is highly desirable.
  • Whilst not mandatory, previous experience working in clinical informatics, health practitioner education, digital education, ieMR will be well regarded.
  • This position is required to travel and work across Metro North Health.
  • Experience and knowledge of the ieMR solutions and implementation process would be highly regarded.
  • Previous project experience is highly desirable.
