MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in providing patient care in Adult Hematology, under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP (ward rounds, clinics, on-calls). Assists in consultations to other specialties in the hospital.
• Participate in consultations to other specialties in the hospital, under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP.
• Assist in performing Bone marrow aspirates, biopsies, and other related procedures under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP.
• Assist In performing lumbar puncture for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes and giving intrathecal chemotherapy.
• Learn and then assist in prescribing and administering medications (chemotherapeutic agents) under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP.
• Participate in the department / division educational activities (journal club, tumor board, lectures, etc.)
• Participate in the department / division research activities.
• Participate in the hospital / department committees upon request.
• Participate in training and education of rotating residents.
• Perform and cover other duties as delegated by the chairman or division head.
• Adhere strictly to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:  

A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized medical school - E

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of (1) year clinical experience in recognized hospital / institution – P (A registered member of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties) – E

 English language: Level – I – Essential

Arabic language: Preferred

Computer: Level – II – Preferred
