Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. to provide high standard patient care in accordance with the NGHA mission, vision and values in the specialty of hepatology within the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery & Liver Transplantation under the supervision of a Consultant Hepatologist.
2. to provide inpatient and outpatient care under the direct supervision of the Consultant or Associate Consultant, Division of Hepatology.
3. to provide under the direct supervision of a Consultant/Associate Consultant, Division of Hepatology, a consultation service to other divisions within the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery & Liver Transplantation and other departments within the organization.
4. To perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and procedures for which he/she is granted specific privileges based on his/her training, qualifications and experience according to the specific privileging conditions recommended by the Division of Hepatology and approved by the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery & Liver Transplantation and the organization.
5. To participate in the on-call coverage according to the rules and regulations of the Division of Hepatology, the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery & Liver Transplantation and the organization.
6. To participate in scientific research, contribute to the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery & Liver Transplantation and Division of Hepatology educational activities and to serve in departmental committees as directed by the Head, Division of Hepatology and Chairman, Department of the department.
7. To adhere to all rules and regulations of the Division of Hepatology, Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery & Liver Transplantation and the organization and to comply with both the APPs and DPPs.
8. To optimally utilize resources, show evidence of continuous self-development and participate in the quality improvement program of the department of Hepatobiliary Surgery & Liver Transplantation.
9. To perform other relevant duties and charges as directed by the Head Division of Hepatology or the Chairman of Hepatobiliary Surgery & Liver Transplantation.
10. To comply with all professional and ethical standards and express adherence to the Medical Staff by Laws of the organization.
11. to show the expected respect, at all times, to patients, their families, colleagues, subordinates and all other members of the healthcare team.

• English Language Skills: Level - l -Essential
• Arabic Language: Preferable
• Computer Skills: Expert Level – B
• Work Experience:  One year experience in Internal Medicine
• Completion of a structured accredited Residency training Program in Internal Medicine

Graduation from a Medical school recognized by NGHA.
