The position:
An opportunity has arisen for a skilled and driven Clinical Lead to join this health service. Collaborating closely with the Clinical Director – Surgical Perioperative, you will be responsible for providing top-tier strategic leadership and direction, while ensuring optimal resource utilization.
The department of Anaesthesia provides elective and emergency anaesthetic services to a number of specialty areas including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT (including Paediatrics) as well as a busy Obstetric unit. 

The Department of Anaesthesia is an accredited site for training with ANZCA.


The Location:
This suburb in Melbourne is only 32km form Melbourne CBD. situated approximately halfway between  Melbourne and Geelong. There's so much to see and do across Victoria, that you might not know where to start. The Facility:
This not-for-profit surgical hospital committed to delivering 'exceptional care that makes a difference' to Otago and Southland residents. Anaesthetic services are provided by independent specialists who cover all anaesthetic sub-specialties. Their services include - preoperative assessment, administering and monitoring the anaesthetic for surgery, and post-operative care in recovery and beyond. The following specialists provide rostered cover 24 hours a day, seven days a week for patients under their care at the hospital
Requirements
  • Must hold the FANZCA and have demonstrated leadership experience.
  • This position is open to Specialists looking to move into a leadership role.
