In the role of Senior Procurement Advisor, you will undertake tactical procurement, including managing and advising on tendering and contract processes to ensure compliance with the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service Procurement Policy, Queensland Procurement Policy and the Contract Management Framework. This role will work primarily within the Contracts and Procurement team but may be asked to assist with Minor Capital and Infrastructure based projects. This role will be responsible for ensuring TCHHS procurement processes are current and in line with Government Direction. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Ability to conduct routine to complex procurement activities ensuring that the transparency, accountability and integrity values are upheld.
• Knowledge of undertaking internal survey and seeking feedback from internal and external clients to contribute to the continual growth and development of the Contracts and Procurement unit.
• Demonstrated ability to take charge on delivery key projects while ensuring changes are made in line with business needs.

Requirements for the role:

Whilst there are no mandatory requirements for this position, the below would be considered highly desirable;

• Minimum 3 years' demonstrated experience in a Senior level Procurement role.
• Level 3 (Advanced Procurement Contract Manager Diploma) Certification from Queensland Government.
