Construction Safety Specialist FULL TIME, PERMANENT Location: (100% On-Site) – Toronto Hours: Mon-Fri (+occasional weekend day 1-2 hours) – 8:30am-5pm - (40 hours/wk.) • College/University certificate/degree in Occupational Health and Safety required
• 3 to 5 years of work experience.
• COR Auditor Certificate required.
• Minimum 2 Years experience in the Construction Industry required. Must have construction site experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and Teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety rules.
• Must have own means of transportation with valid driver’s license.
• Excellent English written and oral skills. (Bilingual in French considered an asset).
• Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel etc.
• Occasional need to travel across the country as well as various local projects (approximately once a month).
