Part Time / Full Time

This is a unique role for a Medical Lab Technologist who is interested in moving outside of the lab into a clinical/ lab solutions sales role. You will cover Western Canada and need to be located in this region.

To be considered for the role, you must have laboratory experience working as a Medical Lab Technologist within Canada. Your experience must include work in the Pathology and/or Core Lab. Forensics could also be considered.

As part of our Sales Team, you will develop relationships with stakeholders within hospitals and universities to increase sales through direct efforts.

Education:

• Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or BMLS/ BSc/MSc/ PhD

Experience

• 2+ years of medical/ clinical lab and/or clinical sales experience is ideal. Other sales/ customer service experience can also be considered. The MLT experience is most important.
• Laboratory technologist experience strongly preferred

Additional requirements

• Up to 50% travel will be required for this role within Canada; some US travel may be required occasionally
• Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle (car allowance is provided)
• Ability to develop business opportunities within your dedicated region
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, project management and organization skills
• Self-motivated, goal oriented and able to work from a home office
