Pharmacist - Rural LAP

Rural Locum Assistance Program (Rural LAP) is a subsidiary of the Aspen Medical Group - an Australian-owned, multi award-winning, global provider of innovative healthcare solutions.
Rural LAP is a component of the Australian Government’s rural workforce capacity agenda. We support eligible aged care workers, nurses, midwives, obstetricians, anaesthetists and allied health professionals.
We are looking for skilled and flexible Pharmacists who are ready to deploy at short notice around Rural and Remote Australia on a casual basis. This is a unique opportunity for experienced Pharmacists to make a real difference where it is needed.
 

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

  • bachelor’s degree in your field of study or equivalent
  • current unrestricted registration with  Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • minimum three years post-graduate experience
  • current membership of a professional organisation such as Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA), the Society of Hospital Pharmacists Australia (SHPA), Australia Association of Consultant Pharmacy (AACP)
  • minimum of 250 hours relevant clinical experience in the past 12 months
  • experience working in rural and remote Australia (preferred but not essential for most locations)
  • basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
