The Principal Project Officer will coordinate the development of relevant program and project documentation and apply appropriate program and project management techniques, methodologies and tools, to ensure quality outcomes are delivered across the project lifecycle.

About the Procurement & Supply Chain Optimisation Portfolio:

The Procurement & Supply Chain Optimisation (P&SCO) Portfolio builds on the foundational work undertaken in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to drive operational enhancements and realise further Queensland Health system-wide benefits. The P&SCO Portfolio is a time-limited, temporary work program, currently consisting of three program workstreams, designed to improve procurement and supply chain operations across Queensland Health.

• Demonstrated background in successfully coordinating complex and large-scale projects, applying project methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools.

• Proven issue identification, analytical and research skills, problem solving skills and a demonstrated ability to develop innovative, sensitive and practical solutions to complex issues.
