What You Will Be Doing
The Allied Health Outreach Grade 2 Occupational Therapist assists people eligible for services under the Home and Community Care Program For Younger People (HACC-PYP) and older people under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) by providing comprehensive home assessment, and specialist recommendations regarding assistive technology and home modifications; holistic client and carer support and education.
We anticipate you will have:
Essential:
• Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (via AHPRA).
• Current Driver’s licence.
• A strong interest in working with clients in their home and/or community environment.
Desirable:
• Registered prescriber with SWEP (State wide Equipment Program) and GEAT (Goods Equipment and Assistive Technology)
• Confidence and experience in working with the Australian Building Standards and providing technical drawings.
• Experience with home visiting and environmental modification.

*Please refer to salary circular for Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector)(Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
