The Position:

OccupationalTherapist

Reporting to the Director, the Occupational Therapistposition is to support participants with the delivery of therapeuticoccupational therapy services to assist participants in achieving their independentliving goals, connection to supports and services, and inclusion within theircommunities including the:

·Delivery of high quality, flexible, and personcentric OT services to support participants in achieving their goals.

·Completion of relevant assessments andtherapeutic interventions to assist participants in living safely and as partof the broader community.

·Maintenance of accurate, timely and confidentialclient notes and files in accordance with NDIS requirements and company policy

·Active participation in the development andimplementation of programs, procedures and other initiatives to the support theorganisation achieve its goals in the provision of OT support and services

·Continued development of knowledge, skills andcapability in providing OT services and support to people within the NDISframework

·Delivery of cost effective and efficient use ofmaterials and other resources in accordance with financial authorities and companyprocedures.

The relevant qualifications,skills and experience required for this position are as follows:

·Relevant tertiary qualifications which entitlesregistration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian HealthPractitioners Regulations Agency (AHPRA)

·Demonstrated experience in delivering qualityoutcomes while delivering professional services to people with disabilitiesand/or complex needs

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsto positively engage with participants, team members and other stakeholders

·Advanced analytical and problem solving skillsto effectively and efficiently deliver outcomes in accordance with client needsand the NDIS framework

·High level written communication and reportwriting skills to assist in achieving quality outcomes

·Capacity and willingness to work flexible hoursand in accordance with participant needs
