About the role:

In this role, you will work closely with the Director Medical Academic Development to provide expertise and tactical advice to support the successful delivery of the Medical Program project across Central Queensland. 

As a Project Officer, you will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary project team to effectively deliver all aspects of the Medical Program including coursework, staffing and educational and clinical infrastructure across multiple Queensland Health sites.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management and/or Project Management would be well regarded.
  • Well-developed leadership and team management skills to build and sustain high profile multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve high quality project outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and connect with others and build positive productive working relationships, often remotely.
  • Expertise in applying project management methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools.

What we offer:

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $144,033 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A hourly rate between $59.42 - $63.65 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
