The Role In this position, you will be supporting the Clinical Directors to uphold the hospital's commitment to delivering high-standard Specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology services. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring efficiency and effectiveness within the available resources. You will be actively engaged in the day-to-day management of Obstetrics and Gynaecology services, contributing to patient safety initiatives, participating in clinical audits, investigating and managing adverse clinical incidents and complaints, conducting research, and contributing to service planning activities.
The Location The facility operates a network model for Obstetrics and Gynaecology services. This position will be required to provide services at the hospital and community clinics, as well as visits to rural facilities in North Queensland. What's On Offer

The Requirements
MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with AHPRA. In general, this will require Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
Extensive clinical experience with appropriate knowledge and skills extending across the range of Obstetrics and Gynaecology services.
