NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week. Applications are invited for a permanent Band 7 Physiotherapist based in Cowal Community Hospital and local GP practices.
£ 43,422- £53,513 full time 37.5 hours .
It is one of two blended post of MSK outpatients including orthopaedic triage and First Contact Practitioner caseload.
The post holder will provide advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic outpatients by providing direct patient care and supporting the training and development of physiotherapy staff across the operational unit.
You will also be required to supervise students on clinical placement.
You will have an BSc physiotherapy or above qualification, with HCPC registration.
A clean driving licence with a car available for regular use during working hours.
A minimum of 4 years post registration is required and 2 years NHS MSK experience are essential and FCP experience is desirable.
There are opportunities for training both internally and externally with funding available.
