About you: 

You have demonstrated ability to effectively manage, prioritise, and provide high-level executive support and administrative team leader functions including the ability to initiate, determine, and follow up work priorities within mandated and tight deadlines, you display high-level interpersonal skills in communication, consultation, and negotiation within a multidisciplinary work environment and you are competent to consult and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on administration, nursing and medical recruitment, onboarding requirements, medical career pathways, and workforce issues.

Your opportunity: 

To provide administration team leader functions and administrative management to the office of the Director Medical Services (DMS) and Director of Nursing and Facility Manager (DON FM) Tully Hospital in the execution of their responsibilities by providing high quality, efficient, confidential, administrative, and executive support.

Your role: 

  • Work autonomously to provide proficient and confidential administrative, executive support, and administration team leader functions whilst carrying out a range of duties in a mature and professional manner, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of administrative processes.
  • Assess and prioritise requests to ensure the coordination and management of the Tully DONM/FM, DMS and administration team offices are undertaken in a proactive, diligent, and confidential manner.
  • Manage the DON FM and DMS' office appointments, records, correspondence, and meeting secretarial support to facilitate the effective management of their calendars, and any other duties as directed.
  • Effectively coordinate and process recruitment, travel arrangements, mandatory training, payroll documentation, invoice general purchase vouchers (GPV's), rostering, onboarding requirements and any other requirements for administration, nursing and medical streams as required or as requested by the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), DON FM and DMS.
