About the role

The Project Manager - Sustainability will manage a portfolio of environmental sustainability projects and initiatives as part of the West Moreton Health Leading Growth Together Program.  The projects and initiatives undertaken will be under the direction of the Manager Sustainability and Performance,  ensuring successful completion within agreed performance criteria for West Moreton Health.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience in the management of environmental sustainability projects and initiatives, low to medium scale multi-trade projects and minor works, preferably in the health care industry, achieving agreed performance criteria.
  • Experience in stakeholder relationship management to support effective project delivery, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Understanding and application of appropriate project management methodologies and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools.
  • Proven negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a low to medium complex trades based project environment.
  • Proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, procedures, policies, regulations, and standards which impact upon the position, including a knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues such as Workplace Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti-discrimination.
