Overview:

Our client, a highly regarded Behavioral Health program in Troy, NY, is seeking a full-time Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist to join their team. The Psychiatrist will play a crucial role in providing outpatient coverage for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including counselors, therapists, case managers, and nurse practitioners, the ideal candidate will deliver compassionate care and ensure consistent continuing care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient coverage for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic
• Collaborate with counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, and nurse practitioners to deliver compassionate care
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-20 (varies based on new patients vs. follow-ups)
• Experience treating an adult psychiatric patient population is preferred
• Commit to providing longevity and consistent continuing care to patients

Schedule and Shift Details:

• Call Rotation: 1:6 weekends; 1:7 weeknights
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-20 (varies based on new patients vs. follow-ups)
• New patients: 60-minute visits; Follow-ups: 20-minute visits
