The Position As a Palliative Care Registrar, your role is to participate in and provides medical support to the interdisciplinary team across hospice, community and hospital based palliative care programs under the supervision of Palliative Care Consultants. This position is full-time, until February 2025, with a possible extension.

The Facility This is a major regional hospital with 300+ beds and state of the art facilities. The hospital has undergone recent expansions and developments so you will be working with access to superior treatment and case management services. This is a Level 2 RACP accredited teaching hospital, so you will have a great opportunity to learn and work with experienced physicians. The service provides inpatient, community and consultative care. The Service works closely with SPARTA (Rural Telehealth Service) for the local region.
The Requirements
MBBS or equivalent to enable registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) at Level 3 supervision.
If qualifications were obtained outside Australia, the candidate must be eligible for registration with AHPRA with the appropriate supervision level and provide the following:
Evidence of successful completion of approved English Language test results within the last year.
Evidence of successful completion AMC MCQ (part 1) examination.
