The Facility:
This 228-bed acute and extended care facility offers surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care, and psychiatry services, serving a catchment population of approximately 90,000. The region experiences a high incidence of road accidents, skin cancer, farm injuries, and work safety accidents, with population numbers surging during the fruit harvest season. Common conditions treated during this period include snake bites, cuts, scratches, and allergic reactions.

The Role:
As a key member of the team, you will deliver Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine services for both elective and emergency surgeries, acute pain management, and perioperative care clinics. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call Anaesthetic Consultant roster. This role offers opportunities for teaching and training students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as involvement in clinical research endeavors.

The Requirements
To apply you must hold the FANZCA or postgraduate qualifications and experience in anaesthetics which meet ANZCA requirements for practising in this position.
