The Position led by a skilled Clinical Director, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration and cooperation. The role involves delivering obstetrics and gynaecology services in a rural setting, including general care, with the chance to explore laparoscopic surgery. Responsibilities will include conducting inpatient and emergency consultations, outpatient gynaecology and antenatal clinics, elective and emergency surgeries, and participating in the acute on-call roster..
The Facility
This hospital is the primary rural referral center for the northwest region of NSW. With a recent $220 Million redevelopment, the hospital now has 348 treatment spaces and performs over 9,000 surgical procedures annually in 5 theaters. The trauma center is equipped with a locally-based helicopter retrieval service, and there is an extensive network of locally-based medical specialists to support the hospital.
