The central responsibility of a dental hygienist is cleaning patient teeth and gums using a variety of tools and techniques. Additionally, the dental hygienist notes potential problem areas and ensures that the patient remains as comfortable as possible during the cleaning process.Successful dental nurses take pride in their efforts to provide quality patient care.
