Principal XR Radiology TechnologistSan Francisco, CAFull-Time (Onsite)Relocation Assistance AvailableThe Principal Technologist is an expert in the modality and must be able to maintain sustained Basic, Advanced, and Specialized competencies, Lead Tech responsibilities, and have exemplary customer service, patient care, and service recovery skills. Professionally accountable for self and team submission of high-quality images to PACS. Participates in continuous improvement activities in the department. Correctly identifies patients for the procedures performed and their respective images. Follows Infection Control policies, radiation policies, and good body mechanics. Maintains appropriate continuing education credits. Complies with all Medical Center and Department policies and procedures. Requires ARRT, CRT, and California fluoroscopy license.Must Haves:Must have flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts, and coverage for weekends and holidays (Work hours and days are variable 7 days a week, 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, including graveyard shifts)Minimum of 7 years of work experience in an acute care and/or university hospital setting.Requires ARRT Licensure or ARRT-approved equivalent.Requires CRT LicensureCRT Fluoroscopy licensure can be obtained within 6-month probationary periodRequires BLS (CPR) CertificationCompetency in Advanced procedures such as arthrograms, myelograms, kyphoplasty, XLIFS, ESWL, HSGs, PCompetency in specialized procedures such as operation of vascular imaging equipment, ERCPWork hours and days are variable 7 days a week, 8-hour days at Bayfront, and 10 to 12-hour days at SGraduate of a formal radiology technology training program in an AMA-approved school.
