Dietitian

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Grade 2 Dietitian, to join our established multidisciplinary team at Dorset Rehabilitation Centre (Pascoe Vale), on a part-time basis until January 2025 (parental leave cover). The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clinical caseload across our inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.


As a Grade 2 Dietitian your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing evidence-based nutritional assessment and management of patients
  • Demonstrating sound clinical reasoning and best practice dietary prescription
  • Contributing to the multidisciplinary care of our patients


Healthscope’s Victorian Rehabilitation Hospitals encompasses three rehabilitation facilities located across the Melbourne Metropolitan region: Dorset Rehabilitation Centre (Pascoe Vale), North Eastern Rehabilitation Centre (Ivanhoe) and The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre (Glen Waverley). Our programs have a reputation for high quality and patient-focused care, across a range of rehabilitation specialties. Our sites offer a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary teams servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.


Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent)
  • Current Accredited Practicing Dietitian status
  • Rehabilitation and hospital experience desirable
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing education and the provision of evidence based practice
