About us:

The Communications and Engagement team is a small but talented team, responsible for the development and delivery of key communication and engagement strategies and activities that align with Central Queensland (CQ) Health's strategic direction.

About the role:

In this role you will contribute to the development, coordination and implementation of CQ Health's communication and engagement strategy as part of the Strategic Communication and Engagement Unit. You will be part of a dynamic small team and a key contributor to the delivery of effective communication, engagement and marketing plans, web publishing and multimedia design activities. This role is accountable for designing and executing strategic communication plans to engage a wide variety of stakeholders and further our health service's reputation.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate proven experience in communication, journalism, public relations, marketing or similar roles.

  • Proven ability to produce high-quality communications and storytelling for various mediums such as web, social media, video or print.
  • Proven ability to develop communication strategies that effectively engage different stakeholders and in executing these plans effectively.
  • Demonstrates practical experience in implementing engagement initiatives such as townhalls and community events.

What we offer:

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $127,235 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A hourly rate between $51.69 - $56.24 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
