The Clinical Nurse Consultant Rheumatic Heart Disease works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide surveillance, investigation, response and clinical education in Rheumatic Heart Disease.To be successful in this role you will have:Demonstrated contemporary clinical knowledge in in the management of Rheumatic Heart Disease and public health service delivery within the remote health care setting and public health outbreak response.Demonstrated leadership and ability to act as a clinical resource, advisory, mentor, role model and technical expert to members of the multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated ability to work with remote First Nation communities and support cultural diversity.If this sounds like the right fit for you, Torres and Cape can offer you:Base comprising salary between $128,701.00- $139,732.00 paGenerous employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%)Salary packaging option to increase your take home payWork / Life balance, variety and flexibilityGreat support teamRequirements for the role:Post-graduation qualification in Public Health or Nursing; or working towards is highly desirable.Participate in an on-call roster as applicable.Will be required at times to work weekends and a flexible roster as necessary to meet organisational requirements and to respond to public health emergencies.Travel across the TCHHS is a requirement of this position in commercial and/or light aircraft and 4WD vehicles.For additional information regarding the responsibilities, mandatory qualifications and/or other requirements for this position please refer to the role description.About Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Services visit
