Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (CQMHAODS) provides specialist mental health, substance and alcohol related care to residents of Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana areas (catchments in excess of a population of 250,000). Rockhampton is the principal service centre for this area and as such provides the administration of the Mental Health Act, 2016, support for accreditation and implementation of programs as well as acute inpatient facilities for the Central Queensland Mental Health teams.
The Assertive Mobile Youth Outreach Service (AMYOS) is a state-wide service which is established as part of the Adolescent Mental Health Extended Treatment Initiative, to provide an integrated continuum of care for adolescents requiring mental health interventions in Queensland.
