The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Solution Architect to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide authoritative and timely advice to the Architecture Manager, executive and senior management, line managers, other government agencies and stakeholder groups
- Consult and collaborate with system stakeholders to promote shared and consistent understanding and acceptance of the proposed solution
- Manage project and operational work utilising project management methodologies to prioritise, organize and implement resource and work schedules to ensure the achievement of outcomes
- Develop fit for purpose solutions that fully encompass the architectural concerns of business, information, application, technology and security domains
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- While not mandatory, professional or tertiary level qualifications in Information Communication Technology, System Engineering and Solution Architecture or equivalent would be highly desirable
- While not mandatory, proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite including Visio would be well regarded
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary full time (12 months, with possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $132 072 - $141 738 per annum
