Hours of Work: 36 hours per week

Location: Sale Point, Manchester and within and around the Trafford Borough (Our office in Sale Point, Manchester will be relocating to Old Trafford by June 2024)

Salary: Starting at £26,044 per annum plus anadditional 20% enhancement for weekday night shifts and 50% for weekend night shifts

L&Q Living currently have an opportunity for a Trustcall (Alert & Response) Technician to join our Trustcall team.

The Trustcall service aims to give customers and their families peace of mind through the knowledge there is always help available at the press of a button. The team provides, alarm call handling, telecare equipment, CCTV and out of hours repairs call handling.


As a Trustcall (Alert & Response) Technician you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and responding to emergency calls from vulnerable clients across Trafford
  • Providing help and support to customers and signposting them to relevant support services
  • Dealing with emergency out of hours repairs calls
  • Updating the CRM system
  • Monitoring the Trusts CCTV
  • Partnership working with agencies such as the Police and Social Services

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Excellent customer service skills with relevant practical work experience in a customer focused environment
  • An awareness of issues and barriers older and vulnerable customers face
  • Ability to identify the needs of others and provide support and guidance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make people feel at ease
  • Full driving license

As a requirement of the role you will be working night shifts (9 hours per shift, 4 days per week) on a rota basis Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays).
