    About the role

    Locatedat CalvaryJohn JamesHospital the CSSD Aide/Technician ensures sterilisedmedical equipment isavailable for use in all relevant areas where reusable medical devices are utilised.

    Key Responsibilities

    • The collection, cleaning, packaging and sterilisation and storage requirements of medical equipment
    • Complete documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures and Industry Standards; monitor compliance and report non-conformances using appropriate method
    • Participate with daily controls, testing, monitoring and validation requirements

    What you bring

    • Previousexperience working within a Sterilising Unit
    • Knowledge and understanding of AS4187
    • Certificate III in Sterilising Services or equivalent or a willingness to obtain
    • Good interpersonal skills within a team environment
    • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
