Working under the direction of the Health and Safety Manager you will:

• Provide H&S services to employees
• Support the delivery of STC health and safety policies, practices and programs
• Process and assist with incident reports and investigations
• Assist in managing and scheduling OHS appointments and follow-up's
• Prepare paperwork and ensure completion, including filing, for the Health and Safety department.
• Proposing and developing creative, HS solutions that make the job easier for all parties
• Foster a culture of safety among all departments
• Any Ad Hoc duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

• 1 Year HS/Admin Experience would be considered an asset
• 2 Years Health Care Aide, LPN or RN education/experience would be considered an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of relevant labor laws, regulations and practices
• Fluent on Office and able to work on other software/website platforms
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid First Aid with CPR and AED
