Senior Staff Specialist, Staff Specialist, Senior Medical Officer or Visiting Medical Officer (General Practitioner) - Maryborough, Queensland Prison Health Services, Maryborough Correctional Centre
Eligible Applicants who move to Queensland from aninterstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent employmentmay receive up to $20,000 incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Scheme .

The role of the Senior Medical Officer is to provide high quality, bestpractice primary health care to prisoners within the assigned scope ofpractice in Maryborough Correctional Centre, referring patients tohospitals and specialist clinics and other health services as required.

Remuneration:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package valued up to $461,256 p.a., comprising salary between $176,802 - $258,910 p.a. (f/t) or salary rates between $84.71 - $124.05 p.h. (p/t) (L13-L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Overtime and on-call allowances will be negotiated with the successful applicant upon appointment. Competitive salary rates between $141.97 - $152.73 p.h. (VMO1-VMO3). Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value. (Permanent Full Time 80 hours p.f. or Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable, Visiting Medical Officer, up to 64 hours p.f.) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
