We are recruiting for a PHO/Registrar in General Surgery to join a leading Hospital in Queensland!

The Hospital is a leading facility with four operating theatres, two procedure rooms, and a 6-bed ICU/HDU, providing a dynamic environment for medical professionals. Accredited for specialist training, the hospital is deeply committed to teaching and research, offering a rich and rewarding experience.

The Role: 

As a RegistrarPrincipal House Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the management of surgical patients with acute and urgent illness and injury. Working closely with staff specialists and senior medical staff, you will contribute to providing high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

About you:

Clinical experience and skills, or a keen interest in developing skills in General Surgery. Demonstrated ability to review, analyse, and evaluate patient care. High-level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relate to staff and clients from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements:

• General Registration or Limited Registration or candidates eligible for registration with AHPRA. 
• Candidates who have been assessed by RACS as partially or substantially comparable. 
• Candidates from Competent Authority Pathway encouraged to apply.
