Position Title: Second Assistant Athletic Trainer/Therapist

Reports to: Head Athletic Trainer/Therapist
Vancouver Whitecaps FC is looking for a new team member to join our Sports Medicine & Science department in the position of Second Assistant Athletic Trainer/Therapist.
The Second Assistant Athletic Trainer/Therapist assists the Head Athletic Trainer/Therapist in managing the day-to-day sports medicine operations for the Club. In this capacity, the Assistant Athletic Trainer/Therapist provides injury prevention strategies, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for Players’ medical problems.
The Assistant Athletic Trainer/Therapist works under the direction and supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer/Therapist, and Club Chief Medical Officer. The Assistant Athletic Trainer/Therapist will assume the duties of the Head Athletic Trainer/Therapist in the event the Head Athletic Trainer/Therapist is unable to or at the discretion of the Head Athletic Therapist and/or Club Chief Medical Office.
