OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - PART TIME OR FULL TIME

IWC is seeking an accredited and registered Occupational Therapist for our Allied Health Professional team who is involved in primary/clinical care services delivered by the IWC. This position is suitable for an experienced Occupational Therapist.

IWC is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation that delivers services without discrimination to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett. 

DUTIES:

• Providing comprehensive assessment for clients with broad ranges of conditions.
• Evidence based therapy intervention either individually or in a group setting.
• Working closely with families and carers to develop therapy programs specific to individuals. 
• Working collaboratively with other allied health professionals.

• Sound problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Genuine interest in people and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor/Master of Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration or ability to obtain. 
• A current driver's licence is essential or ability to obtain. 
• A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
• A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.
• A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.

* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate. 

SALARY PACKAGE:

Your Salary Package is made up of the following: - 

• Salary Sacrifice Packaging is valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding up to $6,000 to your take-home pay.
• Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum.
• 9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff).
• Professional Insurance.
• Superannuation is valued at 11%.
• Annual Leave Loading of 17.5%
