This organisation based in the North of Brisbane and situated on 7000sqmtrs of property uses authentic nature based activities to engage its paediatric clients.

Your Role:
As the Team Lead Occupational Therapist, you will lead and support a team of five dedicated Occupational Therapists in delivering exceptional care to paediatric clients. You will collaborate with the Director of Services to organize comprehensive group training sessions, ensuring continuous professional development and upskilling of your team.
Your role will involve providing clinical supervision, implementing best practice approaches, and promoting the use of nature-based and outdoor therapy modalities. Additionally, you will play a vital role in mentoring junior Occupational Therapists through both formal and informal meetings, while also liaising with the Director to address individual staff performance and ensure a high standard of service delivery.

Requirements:  
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Previous leadership experience desired
  • Working with Children Check
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia 
  • Drivers license (required) and own vehicle (preferred)
