The Opportunity
As a mobile Podiatrist across the Melbourneregion, you'll enjoy the benefits of working for an organisation that really values its people, health & well-being and has a flexible approach to work life balance. Working as a Podiatrist you'll be joining our team focused on working with, and supporting, a range of clients in our aged care facilities and communities to provide comprehensive podiatry assessments and treatments.
We also currently have opportinities for Podiatrists in Brisbane & Perth. This is a locum role with the potenial for a full time role if suitable.
We limit the number of consultations per day to ensure you have the time to provide quality foot care, education and assessments to your patients and build long-lasting relationships.
In the role, you will provide high-quality podiatric care to residents across a range of aged care facilities and client's homes with regular treatments, building relationships to maximize foot care and overall providing better healthcare outcomes for all our patients in a way that best suits their needs.
Responsibilities may include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, treating and evaluating abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limb
  • Diabetic foot health assessments
  • Contributing towards the patient's chronic disease management plan
  • Provide treatment for high-risk patient groups
  • Offer footwear and foot care advice and education to patients, family members, staff and carers
  • Make referrals to other healthcare professionals as appropriate
  • Biomechanical assessments
  • Maintain quality documentation and treatment planning procedures
  • Undertake a range of administrative tasks such as ensuring your stock levels are maintained, and that equipment is kept in good working order, daily reports and handovers to all staff.

About You
We are looking for clinicians who share our vision to shift the way healthcare is provided in Australia. As an experienced, or new graduate clinician, you love to make a difference in the lives of Australians by working with them to improve their foot function and mobility & adding value by establishing and coordinating patients' treatment plans.
This role suits a qualified, fully AHPRA-registered Podiatrist. Ideally (but not essential) you will have a minimum 1 year's experience in a community or Aged Care setting. As a mobile Podiatrist you will need to be comfortable traveling to our clients located as mentioned above and as such provide your own vehicle
