Job Description

We are growing and areseeking a Triage Injury Management Consultant to work on a casual basis and be available from Monday to Friday during business hours . This role is to connect with injured employees and their managers to support them through their workplace injury by offering injury triage, first aid advice, support and linking them into support services and resources available to them. You will be working in a Triage Team which is dedicated to providing personalised health management support and advice to employees who have sustained injuries at work. This is done by using your clinical experience in a corporate work environment.The work is undertaken telephonically meaning that it can be undertaken from home or office.

Tasks include but not limited to:

  • Support and care for clients with empathy and expertise to improve their personal health and wellbeing goals.
  • Undertake coordination of supports and wellbeing services for a highly engaged and motivated client population.
  • Provide initial early intervention Triage with clients, supporting both physical and mental health services.
  • Undertaking of relevant case coordination activity including liaison with all stakeholders; provision of email updates; and creation of appropriate documentation such as a treatment plans or other documentation as required.
Qualifications
  • Experienced Allied Health (Physio, Osteo, Chiro, OT, EP etc) practitioner with full registration or a Registered Nurse.
  • Caring and empathic nature.
  • Experience care coordination or occupational rehabilitation desirable.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT and time management skills.
