Role: Principal Designer / CDM Advisor


Location: West London

Proper Recruitment are proud to be recruiting on behalf an architectural practice based in West London who are looking for a Principal Designer / CDM Advisor to join their Building Consultancy team working on a number of schemes such as residential and new build projects


This is a hybrid working opportunity


Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing multiple projects
  • Design risk management
  • Site inspections
  • Preparation and production of Pre-Construction Information
  • Building/maintaining relationships with Clients/Project Managers and Principal Contractors
  • Principal Designer duties, as defined by the Construction (Design and Management) regulations 2015 (CDM).
  • Leading safety in design workshops for design and client teams


Requirements:

  • Competent technically
  • Excellent communicator
  • Familiarity with the construction process and RIBA stages
  • Proficient with CDM 2015
  • 2 years minimum experience within the Construction / H&S Industry
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or H&S Diploma Qualification
  • Relevant memberships to IOSH (tech), APS (IMaP), CIOB (Tech) at technical / Incorporated member or above
  • Driving licence


Desirable

  • Design related degree, Safety diploma, FRA qualifications.
  • Working towards Chartered/ Certified memberships to CIOB, APS, IOSH

Salary:

  • Circa £50,000 per annum
