An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist in a Mental Health Hospital service in Haslemere, Surrey. Annual Base Salary up to £40,000.
Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration
• Other post-qualification training relative to the role and OPMH (Older Peoples Mental Health) or Forensic Psychiatry

Knowledge and Experience

• At least 1 years experience at Band 5 or equivalent in OPMH or Forensic Psychiatry
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act (1983/2007) and its application
• Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and how it relates to patient choice
• Understanding of vulnerable adult and children safeguarding procedures
• Organising and prioritising own workloads
• Demonstrate ability to enhance care through evidence-based practice
• Demonstrate professional development relevant to the care of older people
• Knowledge of assessment and management of clinical risk
