About the Medical Imaging Department 
As part of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging with University Health Network, Women’s College Hospital, and Mount Sinai Hospital’s Medical Imaging Department provides a state-of-the-art environment for leading edge clinical practice, teaching, and research programs. An international leader in medical imaging, we conduct a large volume of various exams for diverse patient populations from the Emergency Department to Outpatients and Inpatients.
 

In this role you will:

  • Produce diagnostic imaging exams of the highest image quality possible
  • Ensure patient and staff safety in and around the MRI environment
  • Provide exceptional patient care
  • Effectively work independently and as a team member with the goal of maximizing scanner utilization
  • Operate, evaluate, and troubleshoot MRI equipment and software issues
  • Consistent, thorough documentation of all aspects of MR examination
  • Participate in education of students
  • Participate in research studies if applicable
Job Requirements

Mandatory

  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Level II certificate
  • Cross sectional anatomy course

Preferred

  • Recent experience as a practicing MRI technologist
