Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout to join our team on a Part Time basis. Our Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout deliver exceptional, best practice nursing care to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and an industry leading patient experience. You will take a leadership role in the coordination of nursing care and work in partnership with Enrolled Nurses (ENs) providing supervision, direction and guidance.
As a Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include:
· Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation
· Deliver evidence based nursing care
· Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
· Ensure patient and staff safety
· Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and (AINs) to deliver patient care.

Specialities include: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. · Current Registration with AHPRA
· Minimum 3 years experience as an RN in a perioperative setting
· Experience in Spinal/Large Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery (Desirable)
· Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
· Commitment to quality patient care
· Works independently and within a team
· Exceptional time management and organisational skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
