Permanent full-time, 76 hours per fortnight.

This role will work in collaboration with the NUM in providing leadership in clinical care and portfolio management.

Responsible for enhancing overall patient experience and improving care outcomes.

  • Base salary ranges between $132,562 and $143,924 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7).
  • 5 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer super contribution
  • 2 x return airfares to *Cairns p.a. with 5 weeks rec leave (+ 17.5% loading)
  • 2 weeks p.a. professional development leave + travel as required and enrolment and conference costs for approved courses and conferences.

  • Post-graduate qualifications relevant to the specialty would be desirable.
  • Travel may be required C Class motor vehicle licence is required to operate Fleet vehicles.
  • Ability to support management of human, material and financial resources using Business Planning Framework methodology.
  • Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant.
  • VPD risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis.
  • A 6-month probationary period may apply.
