About the role

The Eastern Health Learning and Teaching Directorate seek a senior nurse for the position of Clinical Support Nurse - Emergency Care to join our dynamic team.

This role is pivotal in providing leadership related to clinical change and development, education and support of learners and staff within the Angliss Emergency Department.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia registration
  • Relevant Post Registration qualification in Emergency Care/Critical Care
  • A minimum of three years’ relevant clinical experience
  • Recent clinical Emergency nursing experience at a senior level (CNS or above)
  • Experience and expertise in mentoring and supervising novice clinicians
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with advanced skills in critical thinking, problem solving, organisation and prioritisation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficient computer literacy
