Seeking a Casual Vet Nurse to join the Ellenbrook team of 3 vets and 4 vet nurses - we pride ourselves on our great client communication, passion for stress free handling, and best pet experience; you'll join a supportive and friendly environment where your role with vary between a wide range of surgical procedures, team-based consulting and reception.
We also have a great relationship with the Petbarn team who are conveniently located under the same roof! This also allows for a steady stream of cross-referrals and helps achieve a truly positive experience for all our clients and their pets.
What You’ll Be Doing Each Day

• Casual role undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
• Performing minor procedures when required
• Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
• Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone
  

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a min. 2+ years clinical experience
• Applicants must be confident with surgery
• An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Strong communication skills
• A calm and friendly attitude
• Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
• Experience with Rx works (preferred but not essential)
