The Acute Older Persons Unit (AOPU) is located on Ward 5A, level 5, A Block at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH). The AOPU is an acute 20-bed geriatric unit that provides specialist care for the treatment of conditions common in older people.
Joining the AOPU team will provide you with professional development opportunity and potential progression into a leadership role within an acute setting and will further provide opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary model of care.
You will strengthen health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.

Details of Appointment
Multiple permanent, full time and part time shift-worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
$75,902 - $102,908 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
