Physical Therapist – contract Open to Remote

MoreGoodDays is looking for a Physical Therapist with a flair for writing to help us create an educational program of content regarding the role of exercise and movement in pain-management for people who live with fibromyalgia and chronic pain.

???? About MoreGoodDays

MoreGoodDays is a ‘for purpose’ health tech start-up, founded to create innovative solutions for people with chronic pain.

Today, we know that the best approach to managing fibromyalgia treats every aspect of the patient, involving the right medication, psychology, physical conditioning, diet and lifestyle. However, only 10% of chronic pain sufferers have access to these treatments due to high costs or lack of trained practitioners. We combine the best of all these elements and make evidence-based, digital behavioural treatments affordable and accessible as a first-line option for chronic pain, all from the comfort of home.

We are a team of clinicians and entrepreneurs who have come together to make evidence-based pain management accessible to everyone that needs it.

Come be part of a mission-driven and fast growing start-up looking to make a real difference in people’s lives. We are an innovative and interdisciplinary team, who are passionate about solving a real world problem that affects well over 1 billion people around the globe.

The current program was built by a team of doctors, patients, scientists, designers and innovators all dedicated to our mission of reimagining multidisciplinary chronic pain care.

Based on initial pilots with over a hundred participants, more than 70 per cent of patients experienced clinically significant improvement in measured outcomes (PSEQ, BPI, PCS, DASS-21).

About the role

We’re looking for a Physical Therapist to work closely with our team to design, develop and deliver an educational program for our mobile app about the role of exercise and movement to manage chronic pain. This may include creating a specific exercise routine or program, in addition to a database of movements and exercises that clients can do at home to support their pain-management journey.

To be successful in delivering this project, you deeply understand chronic pain and can navigate the evidence and current medical knowledge and advances. Clinical experience working with people who live with chronic pain is highly desirable.

You are adept at communicating complex ideas in simple and engaging ways and will create high-quality content that has a direct positive impact on the lives of our audience.

You will also work as an advisor to our team, sharing your knowledge and expertise about the role of exercise in pain-management, and helping us to understand this complex topic and create appropriate educational content.

What you'll do

Work with our in-house team, to design and create a specific program of content about using exercise and movement to manage fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions. This is an end-to-end project, starting with designing the outline for the educational program and ending with the production and release of the program and any supporting content, such as the database of guided exercises.

Ensure all content is grounded in the best available science.

Write content that engages our audience and motivates action.

Work closely with the broader MoreGoodDays team to create content in an efficient manner, deliver to deadlines and incorporate feedback from reviews.

Be abreast of trends, medical and/or technical writing/regulatory knowledge, and developments and advances in the role of exercise in pain management.

Keep the team informed of any major changes, needs or risks identified.

About you

Want to have an impact on a global scale.

What we offer

The opportunity to contribute your clinical skills in a way that will have scalable impact.

Being part of an interdisciplinary mission-driven health tech company looking to make a real difference in people’s lives on a global scale.

Flexible hours adaptable to your needs (e.g. one day per week).

We are an equal-opportunity employer dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce. This role is remote and we welcome candidates from any country.
