What You Will Be Doing
As the Enrolled Nurse (EN) AOD Trainee will assist in the delivery of high-quality care to individuals who are seeking assistance with an alcohol or other drug issue. You will undertake structured learning and on-the-job training over a 12-month period within our AOD teams. This is a fabulous opportunity to gain new skills, experience and knowledge in a different area of nursing. The program will run for 12 months.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse
• Committed to developing a career in the AOD and harm reduction sector.
• Good understanding and adherence to the principles underpinning person centred care, and sound knowledge and skill in relation to nursing care, relevant to experience and scope of practice
• Experience in other areas of related need (mental health, family violence, criminal justice, homelessness) (desirable)

*Please refer to salary circular for VICTORIAN PUBLIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021-2024 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
