Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our Nurse Bank team on a casual basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

B risbane Private Hospital is a 181 bed facility, which provides expert care in fields such as orthopaedics, neurosurgery, spinal surgery, plastics, urology, ear, nose and throat, general surgery, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. The hospital is centrally located on the fringe of the CBD with excellent public transport access.

As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
• Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Act as a role model for Safe Practice
• Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
• Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
• Authority to Work in Australia
• Working with Children check (if relevant)
• Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care
• Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
