Job Description

NeuroJunior (paediatric) Physiotherapist role:

An exciting opportunity has opened and we're looking for an early career/experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our Tullamarine team with part-time availability of 3 days per week. You will be providing clinic and community-based services to a caseload of children and young people from the ages of 0 - 18 with neurological conditions. We work with children and young people with ABI, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, down syndrome, developmental delay, and a range of other neurological impairments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and implement tailored physiotherapy programs.
  • Manage day-to-day client caseload to support goals and outcomes with a family-centred approach, to promote inclusion and new possibilities.
  • Collaborate with a well-structured multidisciplinary team to provide holistic therapy.

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent and current membership with AHPRA.
  • 1+ years experience as a Physiotherapist.
  • Demonstrated commitment to family-centred approaches and best practices within the NDIS.
  • Driver's license.
  • Internet access.
  • Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening check.
  • Three Covid-19 vaccinations.
  • Experience working with compensable and NDIS clients is highly desired but not essential.
  • Experience working with children and young people is advantageous.
