About the Opportunity:

As a Registered Nurse (Permanent Part Time) you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of SVCS Gympie.

St Vincent's Care Services Gympie is located in the Wide Bay-Burnett district, about 160km north of Brisbane and 80km north of Maroochydore. Our 30 bed facility provides residents with exceptional care with the added benefit of beautifully landscaped gardens, extensive verandahs, and sweeping views of Gympie and the Cooloola Shire countryside.

Things that work for us:

  • Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential

  • Clinical nursing practice experience in an aged care facility

  • Flexibility to be able to work all shifts

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan

  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

  • Current Flu and COVID-19 vaccination

  • National Police Certificate

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
